Morning Beer for Manny Pacquiao

Saturday, October 6th, 2007

My beer buddy, Jingo – if I may say - boxingworld’s oracle - augured an “unwatchable” fight to be perpetrated by Barrera - but nevertheless predicted a unanimous decision in Manny’s favor.  The best chance for Barrera is to fight an ugly fight, he says.  Unwatchable, oh well…

I’m not a boxing sage as my friend is – but my heart says it’s a TKO win for Manny and the fight’s going to be exciting as hell.  For cryin’ out loud, I’ve already shelled out precious pesos for a pay per view.

Well, here’s for another thumping thrilla tomorrow… and I wish all the best for our boxing hero.

(update:  Pacquiao wins by unanimous decision.  No knockdown in any round.  Jingo was right (as usual)… except that it was not an "unwatchable" fight.)

I won’t be watching this one. Not because I’m cheap but because I don’t have a TV. Watching a relative’s TV is out of the question. I can never see what’s going on with all the heads in the way.

voicing out what everyone’s probably thinking after Pacquiao winning this thing:

“lalo na naman siyang yayabang.”

RT, LOL, that’s a typical scene here. Can’t bear those heads block the tv, huh?

liz - ha haha. you’re so right, but i still give manny my thumbs up than to those politicos na mayayabang eh wala namang maibubuga at kawatan pa naman.

hhahahaha.. i was watching ppv yesterday and every round i can hear manny saying “let’s meet at the center and let’s give the fans a real good fight coz i’ve been talking about this all week”… but MAB said, “no no no.. let’s meet at the center and catch me if you can!”. what a coward, dirty fighter.. that was a boring fight for me coz pacquiao was still hungry for beating MAB after the fight.

tinuod nga botbot - yeah, barrera after receiving those vicious blows somewhere in the 9th round, decided that he might as well retire with all his body organs still functional. Basin magpractice na sya ug law kay llb graduate man na. Lison na kaau kung magtaki-ang cya moadto ug korte. bwahahaha.

Posted by siu at October 8, 2007, 11:47 am

jingo nailed it. at least wa cya magpadala sa balod. pacman’s last PPV fight was also the last fight we (me & hubby) watched. pacman lost his steamed and aura na. pero bcg pud naka-dugang nga sa kapuso gi salida, kapamilya man tawn mi. plus, his overtures in politics. mura bag, his stretching himself into so many places nga dili na cya, well, say it, dili na mysterious ang iyang pagka-tao, grabe na cya ka-over exposed. but he still fights mean. tnx for the space.

… or basin tinuod na’ng ila ka ara mina.:-) kinsa guy di magluya ana. ha ha ha.

in fairness cguro doc ni manny, at least when he retires, he has a lot of options to choose from, pwede politics, artista, singer, basketball player, billiards, sabongero, ug… patay… abogado.

ang pinaka-kuyaw kung mag doctor! patay, mag-nurse na jud ko ana (no offense sa mga nurse md ha!). simbako, dili lang mahimung navarette!

he he he, bitaw no, I could just imagine if he gives first aid - kana ganing sumbagon ang dughan para marevive - kung cya, matiwas gyud ang pasyetne.

“When i had everything in this country, what should i do? I want to help people, i want to enters politics”

Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is a billionaire (in peso terms) who can afford not to work for the rest of his life. He enjoys international fame and has reaped honors for his country. He has a solid family.

What more can a man who has accomplished so much at a young age want??

He wants to become a congressman in 2010.

Do you recognize that this is high time to receive the business loans, which can help you.

If you have a part in motor sports, you are probably already familiar with scarpe Hogan . These shoes are used among those who engage in motor sport activities specifically, but also have a consumer following for their suave sense of hogan donna design. The Hogan scarpe uomo in particular is highly resistant to oils and certain stains, so you will spend less time cleaning your shoes and more time showing Hogan uomo off to friends in great condition.

...The Shoe, Who?

He is Atty. Alan F. Siu - a thirty-something practicing lawyer based in Cebu City, Philippines. He also teaches at a local law school. His practice includes litigation, as well as corporate and tax consultancy. He likes to write. He just found out about blogging and decided to make it his welcome diversion. As much as possible, he veers from writing about Philippine politics (and politicians) which he looks down with utter disapprobation but ...on second thought - he might be tempted to scrawl up some lampoonery on the matter after all.
